ORPHAN SPONSORSHIP
One of our fundamental responsibilities is to aid the orphans and the needy. We are currently working with local orphanages in Iraq to sponsor a number of orphans.

SCHOOLS & ORPHANAGES
Our central focus in raising funds is to help provide basic needs and education for children in Iraq. Yes2Iraq was successful in renovating and constructing a new school for over 200 children in Diyala, Iraq.
CANDLELIGHT VIGIL
We work proactively on hosting events such as the Candlelight Vigil in Toronto for the lives lost during the Camp Speicher Massacre.
Another event was held to commemorate the victory of defeating ISIS by the Iraqi Army.
SCHOOL SUPPLIES
Yes2Iraq works with local schools in Iraq to ensure that students have the necessary tools to continue their education.
In this project, our team in Baghdad provided school supplies to over 300 children.
CLOTHING DRIVE CAMPAIGN
We collaborate with individuals and organizations with whom we share common goals and interests. Yes2Iraq participated in the 'Together Campaign', where we worked tirelessly in collecting new and gently used clothing to send to refugees and Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Iraq.
MEDICAL AID
Yes2Iraq has partnered with international organizations, such as iCARE (Iraqi Children's Aid and Repair Endeavour) in providing medical
supplies and donations to over 130 orphans.
REFUGEE CAMPS
Yes2Iraq celebrates diversity, on Christmas Day, our team distributed gifts and clothing to 150 orphans. Many of these orphans were being housed indefinitely at the Zayouna Christian Refugee Camp after ISIS displaced them out of homes in Mosul.
PHYSICAL HEALTH AWARENESS
Yaser Kasim, midfielder on the Iraq National Football Team and Iraq’s 2015 Player of the Year is the official ambassador of Yes2Iraq.
Yaser took part in our physical health awareness project in Baghdad.
We supplied play kits and footballs, and spent a day with over 30 orphans. This project brought so many smiles to the underprivileged children’s faces while promoting physical health.
FOOD BANK REFUGEES AND ORPHANS
Every Ramadan, our team in
Baghdad provides daily meals, clothes and toys to 50 underprivileged orphans.
In addition, on International World Refugee Day, Yes2Iraq sponsored a food bank for newly arrived Syrian and Iraqi refugees in Toronto, Canada.
SOCIAL AWARENESS
With negative images of Iraq flooding media outlets, we took to the streets
of Toronto on multiple occasions to raise awareness on Iraq’s rich heritage, impactful history, and diverse culture. Shedding light on life beyond war and bloodshed. Our social media highlights success stories of both past and present, Iraqi contributions to society on a global level.
